While the UAE is a signatory of 6 of the 8 ILO fundamental conventions, the country has not yet ratified ones relating to collective bargaining and freedom of association. Aldar has in place a robust grievances reporting mechanism for its employees and has begun to expand this mechanism to its supply chain.
